My document has gone missing! Who removed it and for what reason?
-
My document has been removed but by who and for what reason? I did check the document earlier today and I access to it and then it went missing? And it makes me wonder what other documents may have gone missing that I am not aware of?
The link below is the one that is no more online. Please help me understand who else could be removing my documents since I did not remove it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Please check your Bin (Trash) to check for documents that are missing. I’m assuming your document got deleted accidentally.

Hi there, hope you don’t mind me jumping in here. Looking at the Google cache of that specific post, it seems to be the same as this one https://worldpeace365.wordpress.com/2017/11/06/letter-from-einstein-to-jawaharal-nehru-june-13-1947/
Did you by any chance change the date/title of that post and then republish it?
I see that this thread has been tagged for Staff assistance. They’ll be able to see what happened behind the scenes. Thanks for your patience while they get back to you.

Hi there,
Our logs show you published an identical post on November 6, the one @justjennifer linked to above, and then deleted the post at https://worldpeace365.wordpress.com/2016/04/20/letter-from-einstein-to-jawaharal-nehru/ 5 hours ago, two hours before you posted this thread in the forums. That post is currently in your site’s Trash folder, here:
https://worldpeace365.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_status=trash&post_type=post
The post was deleted by your account, from your IP address, meaning it was either you or someone who has access to your actual computer who deleted that post.

Thank you for your assistance, I was able to restore it from the link you gave me. But I am the only one who has access to my computer and I simply would not delete that file. . Yes,I did create a new document and then decided to copy and paste the new document onto the old one because the new one was a revised version of the old one. The old one does get traffic and that was the reason for updating the old one.
I just deleted a file with this title: “Reconstruction ——-“. Where can I see the information about when it was deleted and the IP address?

You did not delete a file, or a document. You deleted a post on your site.
The information about when it was deleted is in your account logs that only staff can access. You cannot see that information anywhere.

All is well that ends well, my post is back online and I am happy about that. Thanks again for your help.

There is something strange going on!
1) First the post went missing and I did not delete that post.
2) As I mentioned earlier, the reason that I had to create a brand new file was because so much had changed. But because the old one was what comes up when people google for that info, I simply copied the new text and pasted it to the old post. Now, both the new and the old have only the old text and not the updated text.
3) I have email exchanges to prove that I exchanged with someone where I highlighted in red what had changed between the old and the new.
4) I am sorry to take up your time but I most certainly feel that this needs to be investigated.
5) I hope and pray that I am not going to hear that I went back and changed both posts to have the old content. But why?

I’m not sure what you want me to investigate here. The post was deleted because your account deleted it. If it wasn’t you, then it was someone else with access to your computer – the post was deleted from the same IP address connected to all recent changes on your site, and the same IP address that was used to create this forum thread, so there is no evidence that anyone else has had access to your account.
