Hi there,
I purchased a domain and plan the other day but then decided to change my plan. While doing this I think I accidentally cancelled my domain subscription. When I go to that address it says the domain is ‘parked’… What does this mean and how can I fix it?

Please mention domain name which you cancelled accidentally and for which plan you want to subscribe.
If you still have an active plan you can start a chat and take help from staff over chat or email.

Cancelled domains are not released immediately, and it can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available again, if at all. You should never cancel a domain that you still want to use, as there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to use it again somewhere else in future.
In this case the domain should be released again by early next week, at which point you’ll be able to register it somewhere else.
If you want to continue using it with your WordPress.com site, I can still restore it for you as well. In that case, please go to My Site ->Plans and buy a new plan – you’ve already been refunded for your original payment, and a plan is required to use a domain with a WordPress.com site – and let me know here once you’ve done that so I can reactivate the domain.
