    Hi there!

It appears as if you’ve used a site redirect instead of domain mapping. If you want your domain (homeisessential.com) to point to your WordPress.com site, you need to follow these instructions:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/#instructions-for-mapping-an-existing-domain

If you’d like, I can cancel the site redirection from your site, and credit you $13 so you can add domain mapping.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.

thatrobyn…yes! please cancel the site redirect and i will follow the instructions for mapping (which i thought i did, but must have messed up somewhere!).
    thank you!

    thatrobyn…

when i try to map it (which is what i did the first time…) it now tells me that the domain does not exist! i have already spoken with go daddy and everything is set up on their end.
this is definitely a wordpress issue and i need it solved asap.

now it says that the domain homeisessential.com is already mapped to a wordpress site.

this sound like an issue that has been messed up on the wordpress side.

i DID map it correctly, but somehow it is showing as a site redirect.

i have done this with 3 other domains and have not had this issue.

    please help!!

    Hi there!

Don’t forget, I need to cancel the site redirect before you can map your domain :)

I’ve taken care of that, and I’ve credited your account $13, so you can now add your mapping.

I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!
