my domain changed back from .com to .wordpress

  I paid my annual fee for the .com and now it went back to wordpress.com.
  Is there a way I can change it back?

  Hi there,

  It looks like there was an error with your renewal in August which caused the upgrade to be removed from your account, but the domain was still renewed.

  I’ve fixed the broken upgrade and your domain is working again.
