My domain didnt autorenew & it's lost

Hi,
I’ve spent all day trying to figure out what has happened to my website and by the looks of things my domain registration through wordpress (where i originally bought the domain) didn’t auto renew & i did’t notice that until today (as the site has be working perfectly fine) when my website says ‘this site does not exist’
Thankfully i back up all my web data on my own server so i’ve not lost the web content – however i now cannot access my domain name to map it to my server.
Can someone please help me get this domain name back and my website online again

Hi Matt, your domain expired quite some time ago. It may be in redemption at this point; if so we’d be charged an extra $80 to get it back.
I’m reaching out to the registrar to see what options we have, but in the meantime, do you want us to go ahead and send an invoice for the domain + redemption fee? We would refund both if we cannot get it back.

@freshfitnessuk the registrar also let us know you haven’t verified your email address. Please watch for an email from them, and click on the link to verify.

Thanks for getting back to me – i realise it expired a while back, but it was supposed to be on auto renew and the website had been working perfectly fine until 2 days ago, so I had no idea it hadn’t renewed.
Yes let’s go forward and see what they can do.
How long will it take to get it back online again?
