  I checked and apscomunitatvalenciana.net is now in a redemption period. The charge is an $80 late renewal fee in addition to the $18 we charge to renew the domain. Please confirm here if you agree to pay the fees and I will begin the domain restoration process along with providing a manual payment.

  Yes, we want to restore the domain with the corresponding extra fee. It does not let us do it through the profile since that possibility does not appear. Can you manage it yourself? I look forward to having the page as soon as possible.

  Buenos días:

  Mira la verdad es que lo hemos pensado mejor, creemos un abuso de poder el hecho de poder retener el dominio y revenderlo por 80 € (4 veces el coste anual).
  Sinceramente confiábamos en vuestra plataforma nos habéis decepcionado. No habernos dado cuenta de la caducidad del método de pago y que cuando queremos recuperar el dominio lo tenéis en periodo de “redención” añadiendo un coste abusivo e inexistente puesto que no justificáis este aumento con ningún argumento solo decís hay que pagarlo lo tenemos nosotros…. Deja un servicio con mucho que desear.

  Rest assured, we’re not reselling the domain back to you for 4 times the price. Instead this fee is the facility required in order to return the domain, once it’s reached the point beyond restore, from the registry. This redemption fee is not unique to WordPress.com; it is a standard procedure for hosts, in regards to domains that have been allowed to expire and were not renewed in the grace period.

  Because of how domain expiries/cancellations work, we always recommend to keep the domain functioning/renewed if it has intrinsic value, to avoid this fee.
