My domain expired and I need to renew

  I didn’t know the domain was about to expire and I really need to get it back. How can I do this? Please help!!!!

  Did you register your above domain through WordPress.com? (The reason I am asking is because your site is not hosted here.)

  I did. I figured out how to get the domain back, but the site design and all the content that was added after September 5th, 2013 (this was when we changed hosts to wordpress.org) is gone. I’m guessing there is no way to get that back?

  Since this occurred after you left WordPress.com, that’s not something we can help you with here in the WordPress.com forums.

  You’ll need to either contact your webhosting service or seek help over at the ORG forums. http://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t have an account there, you will need to register for one. WPcom and WP are entirely separate entities.
