My domain expired, and I would like to access my account

Please tell me what to do in order to keep my account as is, due to the pandemic, I have had a lot going on and this was not the first thing on my mind due to deaths in the family, and other matters. I need to keep my website up as is and pay the fee, I had no clue my website expired in June

Is it possible you made your purchase under a different login? I can confirm that your site is registered at WordPress.com but is under a different account and not your simiendorothy login.

I cannot access my account. I applied the information given to me to no avail, the receipt is not valid, is the response I am receiving. When I checked the purchase history, this is from a new account. it is not showing my previous history. I ordered an upgrade for my account and have the transaction number, which I will email to you.

Can you explain a bit more about the receipt not being valid? Where did you see that?
On the receipt you’ll find a transaction ID. This is a code containing numbers and letters, and is different from the receipt ID which is a 8-digit number. You need to enter that transaction ID on the account recovery form to verify your ownership of the account.

If the form won’t accept that code, please email passwordhelp[at]wordpress.com and include the receipt as an attachment. Then our account recovery team can help you there.
