My domain expired, but I can't renew. Can you help?

  Hi,

  On my site, (email visible only to moderators and staff) I had the address changed to audreycarlisle.com. It expired about a year ago, but I would like to renew it now, however it says it isn’t available. And it isn’t registered with anyone else.

  Could it be stuck in limbo? Can you please assist?

  Hey there,

  I researched your domain audreycarlisle.com. It appears that, although nobody else has registered it yet, it still hasn’t been released by the registrar who bought it after it left your ownership. It is pending deletion. Here is the public information for that domain:

  Domains tend to have the “pending delete” status for 5 days before they are released to the public for general sale. You can keep an eye on it, and purchase it the moment it is freed up, or you can attempt to buy it on backorder via the link I gave you (above).

  Backordering a domain is quite a bit more expensive than a regular registration, but you can decide if the cost is worth the peace of mind…knowing you can be at the front of the line when it does become available again. Even this isn’t 100% guaranteed, however.
