My domain expired last month and I need staff support to get it back

My domain expired last month, I forgot to renew it. Now when I try to click the email to renew it and keep my domain it gives me an error.

Is there anything I can still do to get it back? I don’t see it appear back in the pool of selectable domains either…

  • Hi there,

I understand how important it is for you to recover your expired domain, and I’m here to help you through that process.

I’m glad to inform you that your domain is currently on hold. This means it’s still possible to recover it at its regular renewal price. Here are two options to recover your domain:

    1. Recover the Domain Only. I can send you a payment form to renew the domain. Once the payment is received, I’ll restore your domain immediately.
    2. Upgrade to a Plan. Consider upgrading to one of our plans. Besides numerous other benefits, you can have your expired domain restored for free as part of these plans. It’s a great way to maximize your site’s potential while ensuring you maintain your original domain.

Please let me know which option you would like to proceed with, or if you have any other questions or concerns.

    Thanks for the quick reply!

I’m not entirely sure which option to pick. What would the price difference be between the two options? Could you send me the Domain Only option first, then I can compare it to the plans you offer. I tried already upgrading to a plan earlier and then picking my domain (robbinlieverse.com), but then it told me .com wasn’t available.

  • Howdy –

Yes, you can just renew the domain to start. That’s no problem. Check your email, and you’ll see I sent a manual payment form for $19. That’s the domain cost.

Write back to us here once you’ve submitted that fee and we will get the domain registration restored on the account.

Thank you! Just noticed it in my email.

Just one question, it seems I can only pay by creditcard, yet all other things like plans, have other payment options. Are there no other payment options for domains?

  • At present, our payment form does indeed only accept credit or debit cards. However, there is another option that might suit your needs. If you choose to upgrade to one of our plans, you can utilize PayPal as your payment method. The Personal plan is our most affordable option, and not only does it cover the cost of a domain, but it also allows you to make that domain the primary address for your site. If you’re interested, you can quickly upgrade below.

I hope this provides a suitable solution for you. If you have any other questions or need further assistance, don’t hesitate to ask. We’re here to help.

Thank you so much, the other payment options made it so I could make the purchase, as having a creditcard isn’t much of a thing here.

Again, thank you both so much, I’ve gained access to my domain again! :)
