My Domain has disappeared, HELP!
-
Hi there, I bought a domain on wordpress using my email address but after purchase I have not received any email from them containing the EPP code or Auth ID. The domain is not visible in my wordpress account, there is no UPGRADES button visible. What do I do the recover this domain and create my site?

Hi there,
To make sure we guide you correctly, could you confirm where you purchased the domain—was it directly through WordPress.com, or through another domain registrar?
The EPP code (also known as an Auth ID) is used when transferring a domain from one registrar to another. To help us investigate, could you share the domain name you purchased? You can also visit https://wordpress.com/site-profiler and enter the domain name to see which company it was registered through.
If you did purchase the domain through WordPress.com and you’re having trouble accessing the account, we will need to help you recover the account. Please follow the steps in this guide to get started with account recovery: Recover your account
Our team will help you recover access to your WordPress.com account. -

hi there, many thanks for responding to my request for help.
the URL is http://www.tamplaruldinsura.art/
I bought this domain from WordPress directly, I have already checked.
We have no email with a transaction ID, I onl have a transaction ID from my bank payment
We had an email to activate the account, we logged into wordpress but the domain or an Upgrade option are not visible anywhere.
What should we do now?
Many thanks!
Adele

That domain is connected to your other wordpress.com account. You bought that domain on 2026-01-05 13:08:00 but you created the account gantaadrian 3 days later on 2026-01-08. As already said you must use the Transaction ID to restore access to the account owning that domain.

Hi Adele,
It looks like there may have been a typo in your WordPress.com email address when you signed up. Please email us at help@wordpress.com and provide the transaction ID you mention having.
NOTE: Make sure you don’t post that transaction ID here.
If you share that with us we can share with you the email address of the account which owns that site/domain and help regain access so you can transfer it if needed.

hi there, I have just emailed you. I think it is very odd that you mention a typo and that you would share the *correct* email so that the transfer can be made. I have obviously bought this domain and there must be a solution, otherwise I will have to ask my bank to obtain a full refund for me. How could there have been a typo when wordpress emailed me a welcome email???

Hi there,
I think it is very odd that you mention a typo and that you would share the *correct* email so that the transfer can be made.
It’s possible that an account with the typo in the email address was created, which contains the purchase, and then a separate account with the correct email address was created.
Since there is private account information that we may need to share with you to help you with the account recovery process, we’ll continue to assist you with this request via the existing email you sent.
