My domain has expired – I transferred it in May – but Siteground are saying

    Hi – I tried to trasfer my site to siteground in May – but it seems it did not fully migrate. I need to re-activate it. I cannot receive email – as the domain is down. Please advise how I can re-instate it?

    It seems your domain expired on June 16th and is currently in the Redemption period. You could sit it out and wait for the domain to be released in a few weeks/months time and then purchase it again at your new host. There is the possibility that it could be purchased by a “domain squatter” before you do. The safest option would be to ask staff to recover it here. There will be extra charges but you would be more likely to be able to have access to it in a timely manner. Then you could point the domain at a site hosted elsewhere and eventually transfer that domain in due course.
