My Domain is already mapped and i want to use wordads

I have a wordpress blog and I bought the domain through godaddy. it is already mapped to my blog. however when requesting an invitation to wordads, the site is telling me I don’t have an eligible blog!

Your blog does not currently have a mapped domain. You will need to map the domain and set it as primary following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

Thank you so much. It is confusing because right now typing the domain (curatingyoutube.com) takes you to the blog, and I set this up through Godaddy. Should I have done this through WordPress? Should it go in the other direction (from wordpress to .com)?

That’s domain forwarding through GoDaddy, you need to setup Domain Mapping through WordPress.com: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
