My domain is expiring, but I repurchased it.

    My domain expired because I didn’t complete the purchase request in time. I have since reacquired my domain, but in the Store->My Domains tab, this is what shows:
    Expiring – will stop functioning on October 18, 2014. What should my next steps be?

    Hi there!

    Are you referring to your domain becomingdaddy.com? It looks like that domain is working correctly. When I visit the address, I’m directed to your WordPress.com site.

    It looks like you’re referring to the expiration date on the domain mapping. Please note, this is completely separate from the registration you paid for at the domain registrar. The registration cost is for actually purchasing the domain. The domain mapping upgrade at WordPress.com is a hosting fee of sorts. In order for the domain to work correctly, you’ll need to keep both up-to-date.

    You can renew the domain mapping at any time before 10/18/14 from your upgrades page here:
