My domain is expiring with the registrar. Can I purchase it through WordPress now?

  I’d really like to purchase my domain name through WordPress so I can manage it under one account. Its registration with another registrar expires later this month. I read that WordPress isn’t taking incoming transfers, but is there a way around that, or can I purchase it through WordPress after the expiration date? Thanks!

  Currently there isn’t a way around it. I wouldn’t recommend waiting for it to expire and purchasing it through us because the domain expiration process takes about 90 days and within that time your domain may go up for auctions and sold. So, you may lose the domain completely. The best case scenario is to keep your domain registered where it is and just keep the name servers set to us.
