my domain is kishorelenka.com is getting redirected to kishorelenka.wordpress.com

    I have purchased the domain today ‘kishorelenka.com’ (16th Feb 2022) but when i am trying kishorelenka.com, it takes me to kishorelenka.wordpress.com.. I need my domain to be working as i have purchased. that should be kishorelenka.com.

    Why don’t I see the Make Primary Address option in this menu?

    The domain is under your account, but you will need a paid plan, any paid plan to set it as your site’s primary address: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/#set-a-primary-address

    Since each annual paid plan includes a free domain registration for the first year, if you choose to do that, please let us know here, and we’ll refund what you paid for the domain by itself.

    Hi I have purchased teh domain by paying $18… Now what is the next step i should do to have this as my primary address instead of having wordpress added to it.

    My domain is : kishorelenka.com
    but everytime it takes me to kishorelenka.xxxxxx.wordpress.com…

    Please suggest elaborately… what is that i need to do… Do i need to pay $48 again. or should i pay $30 … if so .. can you please provide me the link with $30 payment so that i can do that..

    Kindlyly help.. what is this $18 taken for… I am not understanding everything at all.

    Please please help.. how can i make ‘kishorelenka.com’ as my primary site…. i see lot of headbang … it should be smooth enough.

    The $18 you paid was the domain registration itself.

    As staff-blorbo stated above, in order to use that domain as your primary domain (instead of your kishorelenka.wordpress.com domain), you need to have a paid plan (either Personal, Premium, Business, or eCommerce). Without a paid plan, kishorelenka.com will redirect to kishorelenka.wordpress.com.

    Since new annual plans include the first year of domain registration automatically, we can refund you the $18 domain registration fee once you get an annual subscription in place. You’ll pay $48 (if you pay for an annual Personal plan) up front, then we’ll refund you the $18 for the domain registration you already paid.

    Let us know when you purchase that annual plan and we’ll get that taken care of for you and advise how to set your domain as your primary domain address.

    Now would you please mind,, refund of my $18 to my card. Would appreciate your quick response on my refund.
