my domain keeps redirecting to wordpress

  I bought a domain through godaddy.

  Then, I purchased domain mapping through WordPress.

  I decided WordPress wasn’t for me.

  I went to my Godaddy dashboard and deleted wordpress’ nameservers. I also deleted my blog. My domain still redirects to wordpress. What did I do wrong?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  They both direct to the same Blogger blog on my Internet.

  I get the same result. Both redirect to your Blogger blog. Perhaps this is a browser issue. Please try these steps and see if they are helpful. http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

  Also, it may take some time for your local DNS servers to update to the new change. Don’t start panicking until about 24 hours after your purchase.

  Yes tbol3 – good point! It’s my experience that it can take anywhere from 24 – 72 hours for the change to populate throughout the internet.

  Yes, thank you. I noticed over at a friend’s house that they redirected correctly — I guess my DNS servers just haven’t cycled through the change.

  I’m going to keep my blog at Blogger until I learn WordPress better. It’s more involved than I thought, but I can tell that once I learn it it will be a much better product.
