My Domain mapping has disappeared

  • Unknown's avatar

I’ve had my blog mapped to timgoldsmith.com for years. When I go to my site I get the following message:
Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.
I have logged in & tried to do this, but there isn’t a page called “Domain Upgrades” and when I go to the “Map a domain” page and plug in timgoldsmith.com, nothing happens.
    I’m being driven spare! HELP!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi, Tim!
I can imagine that this is not a small issue for you! But this is definitely a problem that the wizards behind the curtain need to address. I’ve added the modlook tag to this so that one of the moderators can look into it on their end. For future reference, any time you need help like this, add that tag and it will get you in front of the right eyeballs.

    Good luck!

My domain mapping disappeared too and I’ve spent the entire day trying to get it sorted, with no luck.

Hi all, Staff are aware of this issue and are looking into it. This thread has been tagged for their attention. If you’ve already posted, no need to open a new thread or post into an existing thread on this same topic. Thanks for your patience.

  • To everyone else having domain issues…

WordPress.com staff is attending our once a year all company meeting. However, there is a team of us keeping an eye out and will help you as quickly as we can.

To make that go faster, please make ONE thread of your own and add the “modlook” tag to that thread. The modlook tags gets our attention and having your own thread helps staff work more quickly. It is very confusing to try and work through a thread with a dozen users with a dozen different sites posting to it.
