My Domain Name

  Hello

  I used to have a blog http://republicofinternets.wordpress.com that was mapped to my own domain name http://www.republicofinternets.com (not owned by wordpress).

  I deleted my blog and now I would like to map my domain name to a new blog. When I try to do that I get a “This hostname has already been used” message.

  Any ideas?

  This is one that has to be solved on the backend. Send an email through the admin of your new blog, send in a support request through the “support” tab in this forum or send an email to support at wordpress dot com. Make sure you give them:

  1) Username of new blog and old one
  2) Email address used for both blogs
  3) Address of new and old blog
  4) the domain that you are trying to move over

  It has to be done by staff, so drop them a line! It might not get done until next week as support is closed on the weekends, but you never know!
