  Hi, I have 3 questions, can you please assist me?

  1. I paid for a domain but I don’t really understand what a domain is. How is it better to have a domain/what is the worth in having one?

  2. I thought a domain would cost $17 – that’s what your page says, but I note you charged my credit card $24 USD. Can you please explain this?

  3. I made a mistake in the NAMING of my domain. I see it is:

  wordsfallfrommyeeyes.me

  but it should be:

  wordsfallfrommyeyes.me

  Are you able to please change that? IF YOU ARE ABLE TO CHANGE THAT, CAN I PLEASE CHANGE MY DOMAIN NAME COMPLETELY – CAN I PLEASE NAME IT:

  NoeleenGinnane.com

  I really didn’t know what I was doing, but I see that if I type in my domain name it goes to my wordpress blog. This is great! So if I have a domain name NoeleenGinnane.com and it redirects to my wordpress blog then that INCREASES THE CHANCES of me having more traffic – ie traffic of people looking for Noeleen Ginnane, suddenly discovering my wordpress blog.

  I really am new to this – only been on since August 2011 and didn’t really realise what I was getting into.

  The domain you purchased was $24 because it’s a .me domain. Domains like .com .net and .org are $17. I’ve canceled and refunded your misspelled domain (wordsfallfrommyeeyes.me).

  If you want to register a new domain, go to Store > Domains on your blog’s dashboard and follow the steps there. Also, you may want to review the following guide before going through the process.

  Please note that a domain doesn’t increase the chance of getting more visitors. It’s just an easier and more convient way to visit your site, instead of a long URL like http://wordsfallfrommyeyes.wordpress.com/

  OMG you’ve gone way above and beyond what I expected. I really appreciate you cancelling and refunding the misspelled domain name, knowing it was my fault. A happiness engineer, you ARE.

  Thank you so much for understanding fully all I was saying, and then taking decent action. I will register again, and I will look at the guide.

  I did think a domain name could increase views so thanks for explaining that.

  I’ve already figured, anyhow, that the only way I can increase views is to run down the street naked with my blog name written in lipstick across my back & midriff. But I dunno, I might not attract the preferred audience.
