My domain name is showing unavailable

I had a wordpress account. I decided to buy a paid template and bought on a different account. So I cancelled my previous wordpress account and tried to open a new account on which I have bought my template. Now, I am unable to create a new wordpress account and link my original domain used on first account because the wordpress says that my domain is still connected to another account and is not available yet. Can you please release my domain (My22bmi.com) from the previously deleted account (I deleted it today itself) so I can assign this domain to a new wordpress account?

Please note that refunds for WordPress.com sites are bound by these guidelines. https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/ If the refund is complete, I am afraid WordPress.com will not be able to move further through this.
I see that the modlook tag is added to this forum topic. One of the WordPress.com Happiness Engineers should be able to help you through this though.

The domain, My22bmi.com, is not registered with us.
It was mapped to a site that belongs to a different username account, but was recently cancelled. There is a waiting period after cancellation or expiration of a domain mapping upgrade before a different username can map the same domain to prevent accounts from “hijacking” a domain, making the actual domain owner unable to use it.
If you also own the other account, please comment here as that account to give permission for the @sarikatyagi account to map that domain. Then I can help you bypass this waiting period.
In that case, please go ahead and purchase the upgrade plan you want to use for your new site, and then I can reconnect the domain for you as soon as you confirm via the other account.
