  It is not possible to use a custom address on our free sites (those must use the “WordPress.com” address) but you can add a custom address by first upgrading to one of our upgrade plans. https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  All our plans include the ability to transfer your GoDaddy domain over and use it as the address of a WordPress.com site instead.
