  Hey there! I just want to confirm something. For me to link a domain i didnt buy through wordpress to the page I need to update to worpress premium or personal? thank you!

  You’re correct! In order to add or “map” a new domain to your WordPress.com blog you must first upgrade your plan. Each plan comes with one free domain credit.

  Hi there,

  If you want personal, first add the plan at My Site ->Plans before you add the domain, otherwise premium gets added by default.
