My domaine has been shut down and I need to rebuy it

    Hi I’m in trouble I had a domain registred with you but I wasn’t using your plan so I missed a warning that it was going to expire. Now I can’t rebuy it. All my mails go to this address is there nothing I can do?

    Hey there,

    I checked with our registrar and lol-kat.com is now in a redemption period. You can still renew your domain through us, but it is now a more expensive and complicated process to do so. Our registrar charges an $80 late renewal fee in addition to the $26 we charge to renew the domain. The good news is that this is still a chance of reclaiming the domain through this option.

    Your other option is to wait until the redemption period is over so that the domain becomes available for registration again. Domains are usually in redemption for approximately 80 days, but with this option, you run
    the risk of someone else jumping in front of you to purchase the domain before you get the chance.

    Please let me know if you want to proceed with paying the late renewal fee in the attempt to reclaim the domain name. This option is also time sensitive because the domain can be auctioned off to an expired domain bidder.

    I would suggest enabling the auto-renew option so that you will not have to worry about losing control over your domain in the future.

    I’ll be happy to contact the registrar to see if we can restore lol-kat.com to your account, but I cannot guarantee that we will be able to get the domain back. If I am successful, I can send you a manual payment request form for you to repurchase the domain.

    That would be absolutely amazing.

    I talked to the registrer earlier and they said they were happy to restore the domain but that the request needed to go through WordPress.
