My email address does not change

  I am getting very confused. I have been trying for hours to change the e-mail address without success. For zambullida user I want (email visible only to moderators and staff) and keep my old avatar (the snowflake) and I think I have finally got it. Yet, for my wanderingandwritings user, I want the picture of the lady with a long dress(my old avatar) and (email visible only to moderators and staff) Apparently, there is a pending confirmation and I do not know what to do anymore. Help me, please.

  Hi Nuria,

  After you enter a new email address in your account settings, we send a confirmation email to that new email address. You have to click the link in that email to complete the change. (Until then, the change is listed as pending confirmation.)

  If you need to resend that confirmation email, you can go to your account settings, cancel the pending change, and enter your new email address again. That will send a new confirmation email so you can complete the change.

  If you don’t see the confirmation email in your inbox at that new email address, please try the steps on our Gmail Issues page to look for it there.

  It is working now and even my avatar is back. I tried to do it last night. I was too tired so I did probably miss something. Thanks a lot!
