  Hi,
  I have no longer access to my older account, as my email address I used to login is not in use any more. Is there anything I can do now? The site is very important to me and I really want to continue writing it.

  We can’t just grant site access without proof of ownership, but one of those options may work for you, especially if you ever had upgrades on the site.

  Another option if necessary: see if you can get your old email address back, even just for a moment.
