Good evening.
I am receiving an email notification advising that you have responded (thanks for that) but no email with a solution.
Feedback appreciated.

Hi @patcorcaigh,
We can see that you have been added to quite a few sites recently.
However, since so many invites were sent and accepted in such a short period, our security system has temporarily flagged the activity as “too fast.” This is a security measure designed to prevent spam bots from flooding users with invites. The “Blocked Invite” message you are seeing is actually a rate limit warning.
Could you please confirm that your students can pause sending invites for 24 hours, which allows the system limits to reset? Thereafter, please request a new invite to be sent.Once that temporary block lifts, ask students to invite you in smaller batches (e.g., 5 per hour) rather than an entire class at once.
Can you confirm for me that you were indeed successfully added to about 20 sites in the last week? If so, the temporary block will lift automatically with time.
Please let us know if you have any questions!

Thank you for your response.
Confirming lots of invites to act as an administrator from my students. I think >5 invites may have occurred during a few lab classes, triggering the ‘block’.
The block remained and has not reset for many weeks now…I think that’s the main problem….does not auto reset etc. (Not sure if this is actually the case but a guess)
Please remove the block. (Thank you).
Normal for me to receive up to 50 invites between September and December, sometimes > 5 arrive together or within a short period of time, during a marketing lab.
Going forward, I can request students to send the invites at different times. However, this may be difficult to manage in practice, as students set up accounts to engage with the platform and learn how to build a basic website outside of lab hours, as well etc.
QUESTION: Does the ‘blocked invite’ reset automatically? Going forward if the problem re-occurs can I reset myself?
Thank you very much for the support.
Kind Regards,
Pat
