My email is (email visible only to moderators and staff); WordPress emails to me have wrong sender.

  I subscribed to “(email visible only to moderators and staff)”. Lately, on ALL emails from any WordPress blog I subscribe to, the SENDER of the email is not, for example, “Jonathan Turley.” It always says it’s from “Claudia Strasser.” (“The Paris Apartment.”) I do subscribe to her blog also, but this is weird.
  I don’t think I did anything to make that occur, but who knows? :)

  Hi Marilyn,

  Is this still occurring? Is it just emails from jonathanturley.wordpress.com that are appearing to come from Claudia Strasser of the Paris Apartment or is it all subscriber emails that appear to be coming from Claudia?

  Hi Jeremey,

  Yes, still occurring, & just got one from “WordPress.comNews” (what it says on the mail list before you click on it), & when I clicked on it, it’s from “Claudia Strasser,” etc. This one I just recd from you was not from “Claudia, etc.” but all other subscription emails (from wordpress) are.

  Hi Marilyn,

  I just want to make sure I fully understand so I can correctly troubleshoot. The email you receive appears to be from “WordPress.com News” when it originally lands in your inbox. However, when you click on it, the “From” field is actually from Claudia Strasser. Is that correct? Can you let me know what is in the body of the email?

  Hi, Jeremy,

  Yes. Some (but not all) from WordPress.com have Claudia Strasser as sender.

  All from WordPress Bloggers have Claudia Strasser as sender.

  It looks like the screenshot you provided is a screenshot of a Word Doc icon. Can you please provide a screenshot of the message header so I can take a look? If possible, can you also paste the email contents into a reply here?

  No matter what I do, I cannot copy & paste the screenshot. Tried to paste it here in this box – can’t do it.
  Any advice? I could try mailing the whole email to your email address.
