My email was hacked and WordPress will not change my email address

  Hi folks,

  I have shutdown my standard email account because it has been hacked multiple times. I went to WordPress and reset my email, but it sent the confirmation to my old email account. I can no longer get in there. Is there any way I can reset my email without having the old email account?

  I need to do the same thing – I no longer have access to my old email account. I have my user login and password, how do I change my email address for wordpress.com?

  If you’re logged in to WordPress.com, you can change your account’s email address via Users -> Personal Settings in your blog’s Dashboard.

  The confirmation email is sent to your new email address, not the old one.
