My entire blog changed

    At midnight last night (PNW Time) I decided to post my very first post ever. I use divi builder as my theme but I decided to choose default when making my post as I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to use divi or wordpress’s default setting to create my posts. When I decided to post, everything got ruined. And I absolutely mean everything changed. Now my website looks 100% different from what I made it to be. There were several separate pages that were designed. But the most important page was the home page that had the title of my website, a header image I created, with the page buttons right below. Then below that was where posts should appear when I posted. So once I decided to post that post, everything is now messed up and I cannot get it back to where it was originally before I posted. I tried to revision the home page but it is still messed up. I seriously don’t know what to do now. Is my site ruined all because of one simple mistake? I am in complete distress as I have spent so many hours already working on this all for it to be ruined by trying to post something. I really need a lot of help in restoring my website to where it was before I posted at midnight on November 14th.

    For what site is this? The WordPress.com account you’re using to post here doesn’t own any sites with us.

    It sounds like you might be using the open source version of WordPress with another hosting provider. In that case we don’t have any control over your site, and no access to your data, so won’t be able to help.

    From your description this sounds like a Divi issue, so I suggest you try contacting them first.

    Another option is to contact your hosting provider directly – your hosting plan might include backups of your site, in which case they can help you restore your site to a previous version before these changes happened.

    General help with your version of WordPress is provided by the WordPress.org community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/, but I don’t think they’ll be able to help in this case, as this doesn’t sound like an issue with WordPress itself.
