  Hi dennidavid,

  Using WordPress on Bluehost means the site was created with WordPress.org software. If you want to create a new site on WordPress.com and use the existing domain here, it can be mapped with these steps:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

  It’s worth noting that pointing the domain to us means the current site will no longer load at that address. You can create a free site, start adding content and choosing a theme etc. Then map the domain when you are ready to make the switch.
