My followers are not seeing my latest post

    Hi
    I didn’t notice my latest blog( which I posted about 6 hours ago) https://abriejoubert.wordpress.com/2018/11/15/a-marathon-of-light/ on the Reader and asked one of my followers if she can see it. This was her response:
    Actually Abrie, you are in Lens-artists reader but not Followed That happened to me once and the support team had to reset my blog somehow. Make sure to contact them on it.

    I was able to find your post on the reader by searching and I was able to see the post on your site. I have decided to tag staff just in case I am missing something.

    Thanks for for replying, I have actually logged it again this morning as I did not know where to go and searched for a reply and didn’t check my gmail account as I normally use outlook.

    I am on the Reader but I am not in the “Followed sites Reader feed” of my followers (which include my feed). Thus as this specific post is not shown there my followers do not realize it was posted. Those who are a accessing are coincidental (as this is blog challenge and a pingback shows on the host blog).

    According to the friend I mentioned I have practically become “unfollowed” as she had the same problem. Tina Schell of https://travelsandtrifles.wordpress. I looked at gmail now and I have received the email to myself (being a follower) that my post in question was posted but it is not reflecting in the follower feed

    Hi Abrie,

    I’m not clear on what the problem is here. I can see your lastest post just fine in the feed for your site at https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/8073358, and if I follow your site I also see your latest post in my main Reader feed:

    And I see it in the main Reader feed for your account. Please check if clearing your browser cache makes it appear.

    I also see no evidence that you have been unfollowed. Our logs show you unfollowing your own site around 18 hours ago, and then immediately refollowing it a few seconds later. Prior to that you were already following the site.

    If any other of your followers report being unsubscribed from your site we’d need to know their usernames in order to check their accounts, but in that case it would also be best for them to contact us directly.

    Hi Kokkie

    I unfollowed and followed myself 18 hours ago as I could not see my post in the reader, but after that I still could not see it. I again followed and unfollowed myself about an hour ago and can now see the post in the reader. But since then I have received a referrals from the reader and asked a follower of mine who commented if she can see the post in the reader and she confirmed she can. But all of that happened in about the last hour (not visible before),

    Anyway it seems as if has been resolved now. Thanks
