My followers aren't showing in my stats

  People are clicking the “follow me” button but the count isn’t changing. I am also not getting email notifications that they have joined. I have tested this with 3 readers

  When a reader subscribers, they receive a confirmation email with an activation link. You won’t receive a notification and they won’t appear in the stats until they click the activation link.
