My followers don't like being told that they're "amazing people"

  Currently, people who follow my Research blog at http://www.ihurerblog.org get an irritating message in the sidebar saying something like:

  “You are following this blog, along with 999 other amazing people.”

  I rather hope the blog is interesting enough to attract followers without this kind of empty flattery. How can I suppress the “amazing people” bit while still showing the number of followers?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Thanks! It’s good to know that only I (and the other blog editor) see that corny text, and my followers actually just see the normal one. Apparently, it must be someone with rights on a blog to see “amazing”. I suppose it’s a little developer’s joke.

  I’ll stop worrying about it (though I think it’d be good to change it, it seems to bother other people as well)
