My followers' emails

  Hi folks. I want my followers to only receive the first few lines of each new post by email (instead of the whole post) with a link to follow to my blog (“Read more of this post”). One blog that I follow, nokotahorse, does that, and I like it very much. How can I set that to happen for all of my followers? Thank you.

  Hi there,

  You can do this by changing the feed display settings under Settings > Reading in your blog’s dashboard. For the setting “For each article in a feed,” you can select “Summary” — this will display only the first part of your post in your email notifications, and subscribers can click through to read the whole post.
