my followers get email notification with summary or full text

  I’d like my followers-by-email to receive only a summary of my blog posts, so they have to click through to read it on my blog. Is there a setting I can change to do that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  There is not a way to do this in the admin settings, but you can add the “more tag” to your posts, which will truncate your blog entries so that only the first part of certain posts is displayed along with a link pointing the reader to the full post.

  Email followers will also get the same truncated posts your site visitors see.

  You may also need to set your RSS feed to show a summary and not the full text.

  You can do that by logging into your site’s dashboard and going to Settings –> Reading
  For each article in a feed, show
  __Full text
  __Summary
  click “save changes”
