my forum pages showing up on the web ?

  i went into goggle to search for my blog and found it ok , but as below my forum pages are showing up , is that normal , this will not happen with yahoo , harry

  The Forums aren’t blocked to search engines, so they will be crawled just like any other public website.

  Yes indeed everything we post here can be found in Google’s cache. Luckily, the links are all “no-follow” and signature link dropping is not allowed. That means we don’t have the added burden of caused by those who post frivolous threads just to signature link drop and get Google juice. In fact, most forums with “do-follow” links that allow signature link dropping into every forum comment they leave are fading into obscurity.

  What you are seeing is these forum threads which are indexed and in the search results in the shake of a lamb’s tail. You haven’t made you blog “private” and blocked search engine access, and I don’t advise you to do so. Getting a blog indexed is not all that easy. It usually takes 4 – 6 weeks and sometimes even longer after verification.
