My freelancer is blocked from login?
-
Hello, I have hired a freelancer located in the US to make some edits to my WordPress template. They are unable to login to the account. I recovered the old email associated with the account and reset the password to something totally new and gave them that one, and they’re still getting this message:
“WordPress Login Temporarily Disabled We apologize for the inconvenience! You are seeing this message because your site has recently been targeted by attackers attempting to gain access to your WordPress Dashboard. In order to protect your site your WordPress Login page has been temporarily disabled. Unfortunately, you will be unable to login to the Dashboard until the block expires. How to get help For more information on: Why this block was enacted How to further protect yourself How to regain access Please visit our support site.”
I was able to log in to my account to send this message. Please advise, I really need to get my template changed! Thank you!

Something tells me you are NOT talking about https://brendaclarklaw.wordpress.com/. There’s an extra charge if you make us guess which URL you’re talking about.

Sorry, just saw your response. The domain is http://brendaclarklaw.com, my understanding is it is connected to the wordpress https://brendaclarklaw.wordpress.com, and when I post from wordpress it will be reflected on the main domain.

Ok, then you are in the wrong forum.
This forum is for blogs/sites hosted by WordPress.comWordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
And you should ask in the WordPress.org forum.
