My friend and I don't have access to the same themes?
-
I am trying to help a friend with her blog theme. I recommended she use the theme Confit, however she couldn’t find it when she was in her dashboard, and instead picked “delicate”. She wanted to make some changes to that theme, but when I went in to my dashboard, I couldn’t find “Delicate”. It seems like we have access to different themes. Is that possible?
(Her URL is staceymorris.com)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Is your friend using a self hosted version of WordPress?
Also, the domain you provided doesn’t work.

She is using a self-hosted version of WordPress, which means she pays for hosting.
Your site is hosted for free with wordpress.com. Some of the limitations within wordpress.com is that you don’t have access to the same themes.
Hope this makes sense.

Following up on what dustinhartzler shared, there is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we cannot install plugins, upload any third party themes, create child themes, or create our own themes or edit templates.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/The only themes you can use on a free hosted WordPress.com blog are those found here > Appearance > Themes and showcased here > http://wordpress.com/themes/
There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes that. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
