My friend doesn’t understand websites and accidently bought premium when i told him to get a free acct and then pay $13 to domain map to the domain he owns.
Can we fix this ?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and cancel any upgrade.
WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.
The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours and is clearly stated here. https://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades
Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.
Provided you are logged in under the exact same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel domain mapping and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades
I typed modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up. If you purchased the domain through wordpress.COM then Staff need to know if you want to use the domain URL on another site or not.

Thanks for the reply, my friend doesn’t understand web and was just helping. I made a simple site for him and asked him to create a free account and i would transfer the site to him and he would pay the domain map fee of $13. I will get him to log in and try to cancel subscription and start again.

Yes i read your reply, i am on his manage purchase page it has two options,
Just cancel the plan, and keep “dtfx.net”
OR
Cancel the plan and the domain
My friend already owns the domain and has it registered and server space in australia, so cancelling the plan and domain will not effect that ?
We still want to domain map the dtfx.wordpress.com to dtfx.net so do i do it again after i cancel ?

I’m seeing a refund of WordPress.com Premium and a purchase of Domain Mapping.
Can I assume that this is all sorted out now? If not, please let me know.
