  OMG, I thought I was searching through a knowledge base, not posting on a forum, So sorry! I’m trying to figure out where I obtain FTP credentials for my free WP blog. I’ve just spent an entire day trying to get Blogger working with a Feedburner feed (which went so well and explains why I’m here). Though it seems very nice here, I’m a little out of patience and would have preferred the knowledge base. Hehe!

  wordpress.com already has some ‘plugins’ installed. Unfortunately you can’t install your own plugins in wordpress.com

  If you want to use custom plugins and themes, and also ftp access to all wordpress files and databases, you can do so by installing self host wordpress, which can be downloaded from wordpress.org
