My full name appears when commenting.

  My full name appears when commenting. It should only be the name that is entered in my profile under Public display name. Why doesn’t it match? And how do I contact customer service directly?

  I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

  Hey there, could you send a link to the site where your full name shows?

  Also, note any changes to your display name will apply to comments going forward.

  Do you mean the Gmail login option in the comments box, here?

  If so, that’s pulling in your name from your Gmail account.

  If you want your public display name in your WordPress.com account settings to be used, you need to comment as your WordPress.com account instead.
