My gravatar and WordPress site won't match
-
My website is http://www.thelifestyledigs.com
When I signed up with Gravatar, and logged in with my WordPress account, Gravatar absolutely refused to believe I have an existing WordPress website and a WP user name and password. It gave me a default user name and I was able to do my Gravatar. This was a couple of months ago.
When I leave comments on other blogs, the gravatar shows correctly. It’s a picture of me and my horse.
From time to time I visit a blog and try to leave a comment and it says log on to your WordPress account, which I do, and it refuses to believe me.
Now just in case anyone thinks I’ve forgotten my log in information, I have it written down so I won’t forget. I’m unable to leave comments on a few blogs. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason why I’m able to easily leave comments on most blogs with the correct Gravatar and a handful don’t work.
On my own blog when I respond to a comment, my Gravatar doesn’t show. It’s just the default mystery person. I tried to adjust the settings today but Gravatar still refuses to believe that I have a WP website and to make matters worse, now when I go to my dashboard or look at my site, in the upper left corner it now shows the default mystery person. Previously I did see the photo of me and my horse.
Help! How do I get Gravatar to accept that I have a WP web page and user name and log in? Why is this so hard?
