My gravatar does not show up when activating widget
-
The gravatar I have chosen does not show up in the sidebar when I activate the widget for this. All that shows up is the generic WordPress gravatar. Why doesn’t my personal gravatar show up? (I use the “ChaoticSoul” style for my blog.)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Activating the widget is that last step.
These are the best practices for uploading your gravatar:
(1) Prepare the image prior to uploading it and make sure it’s no larger than 128 pixels X 128 pixels square.
(2) The image filetype has to be either PNG, GIF or JPG. Make sure the file name contains only letters and numbers – no special characters – and make sure all letters are in lowercase.
(3) Also make sure the image file name has an extension (Example – image.jpg) and not a .tif or .bmp or any other extension that is not allowed.
(4) Note that there is a time delay while your gravatar image propagates throughout the internet and displays on blogs where gravatars are implemented. So wait for awhile and if you are experiencing problems then go to the gravatar site and read the FAQs as it contains common questions and answers to them http://en.gravatar.com/site/faq/
I hope this helps. Best wishes. :)

The blog you have linked to your wordpress.com username has been deleted. please “fix” that by linking to your functioning wordpress.com blog.> Dashboard > Users -> Your Profile
> scroll down to ‘contact info’. In the spot where it says ‘website’ fill in http://THENAMEOFTHEWORDPRESSDOTCOMBLOG.wordpress.com/ and click “update Profile’.Also note that if you are not referring to a free blog that’s free hosted by wordpress.com then you are posting to the wrong forum and ought to be posting to http://wordpress.org/support

I’m puzzled when you stated my blog was deleted; that’s not the case at all. I think the picture I’d selected is too big (253×397, or 40.0kb), so I’ll look around for something else. Thank you.

I’m puzzled too because I don’t get that error message now when I click the very same link.
Yes, the image you use ought to be optimized and pre-sized to the exact specifications prior to uploading it. You can use image editing software (free desk top apps) to do that or you can use a free online image editor prepare it.
