My Gravatar Doesn't Appear On Android / Genesis Framework

  Does anyone know of a solution for broken gravatar images on mobile devices?

  Hi there,

  I just checked my site on my Android and could not find a broken Gravatar image. Can you take a screenshot on your Android and upload that to your Media > Library page?

  I’d be happy to take a look!

  Here’s The Image

  I’m on the Genesis framework using “streamline-pro” as my child template. The page where I took the screen shot (via my Android device) is located here.

  One thing I do know, streamline-pro requests a larger version of the gravatar than the default Genesis size. However, if I can see it on my computer, I should see it on my device.

  When I try and look at the image itself in a new tab (Android Chrome brower), I get an error message from Google: “Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to 0.gravatar.com – Did you mean gravatar.com?”

  Help me out here.

  This problem is resolved.

  The culprit was a root modification to my Android device. “AdFree Android” was blocking the Gravatar server and, as a result, not showing the image!

  Fixed.
