My Gravatar doesn’t work at all!!

Did anyone who posted here previously eventually get theirs to show up? I’ve waited a week for mine and it still won’t show up. I’ve been posting comments on a friend’s wordpress blog that shows avatars for other comments but it still doesn’t show mine.

On your blog, go to settings > discussion and go to the bottom of that page and make sure you have gravatars turned on.

You can also go to my blog and leave a comment at http://opposablethumbz.wordpress.com/ .

There is no link on the profile page to create a gravatar. My blog is 1 week old and I cannoy locate it in any setting. :(

In your dashboard at users > your profile there should be a bluish box at the right where you can upload a gravatar.

You can also upload one directly at gravatar. While logged into wordpress, go to http://en.gravatar.com/ and then click on “my account” at the top of the screen, then select “add an image” and upload it there. It may take up to a few hours for it to show up across all of wordpress. It will show up here in the forums first.

my gravatar has finally appeared on my page after changing the settings to allow x-rated ones.

however, the super-tiny gravatar next to the ‘my account’ drop down hasn’t changed. is there a way to change this, or is this the way it’s supposed to be?

For those who’s gravatars do not show up, and have not shown up for a while, try the cookie dance: clear cache and cookies, then restart the browser.

How long will it take to change? My gravatar is rated G and I did it over 15 hours ago, but it still shows a generic image. Any help?
