My gravatar is not showing up on my wordpress site

    I originally added a new email address to the my gravatar account a week ago and added a new photo to that email address. After a week though the image did not update on my wordpress site. So I instead created a new gravatar account associated with the email address. The gravatar picture on my wordpress site has still not updated though.

    I did purge my cloudflare cache for the site but still the problem persists.

    Any help is welcome.

    What is the site address?

    It does take a while sometimes for an initial Gravatar image to upload, but no more than 24 hours.

    Have you tried clearing your browser cache and adding the new image to the original account.

    float.marketing is the site address.

    I did try to clear the cache both with cloudflare on the website side, and I tried clearing the cache in my browser, using an incognito tab and trying a different browser, all with the same results.

    I installed a plugin to overide the gravatar image with my own but if I could fix the issue that would be good too.

    It sounds like you’re using the open source WordPress.org software at another host, rather than WordPress.com. We can only help with sites hosted on WordPress.com in this forum.

    A Gravatar image not updating on a stand-alone WordPress installation is usually a caching issue, but as you’ve already ruled that out, please try asking at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ if anyone there has another idea.
