My Gravatar profile picture is not showing on wordpress contributor profile

Hi, someone has added me to https://offthedome.in/ as a contributor and I’ve created a gravatar profile with the same email. The picture is showing everywhere but in the WordPress profile i got added with.

Hi there!
Could you confirm that the email address used on the profile on that site is the same as the one you used on your Gravatar/WordPress.com account? That is most commonly the reason why the Gravatar pictures don’t show up. Please confirm and let us know.

Could you link us to a page that displays the wrong Gravatar, so we can see the image it’s using?
And, was your username / email on that site changed from what they were initially?

Many thanks for that information.
It looks like the theme template is using the image that is being uploaded via Dashboard > Users > click on a User > Edit > scroll down to profile images – rather than a Gravatar image.
This means the user details would need to be updated in the site natively.
This site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software at another hosting provider. This is a bit different to a site hosted on WordPress.com. You can read about these differences here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ – so we wouldn’t have access to the site, or how it would connects to Gravatar.
