My gravitar isn't showing in next to the URL in the HTML box.

  Is it possible to replace the generic wordpress w logo next to the URL with one’s own gravitar? If so how?

  Secondly, throughout my blog various words are appearing as links. Linking to adverts and general spam.

  (this happens when I view the blog using firefox).

  I haven’t noticed this before but needless to say i’m concerned.

  You can’t directly replace it with a gravatar, but you can upload your current gravatar image as your blog icon via the Settings section of your blog’s Dashboard.
