My header
-
On my blog my header moves along with the page…(I think it’s called ‘fixed’ but I’m looking for the other kind of fixed) I would like to reverse this and keep it on top so my readers can have more text rather than the (annoying) header covering up half of the page while they scroll down, thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Then you will have to select another theme that is designed to function the way you prefer. See http://themes.wordpress.com

This is the detailed these description link http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/superhero/
This is the live demo link http://superherodemo.wordpress.com/Superhero features a Custom Header that can be set under Appearance → Header. However, many bloggers assume the featured Featured Content Section at the top is the header when it is not. Superhero does not have a full width header image. The full width images are in the featured post slider.
Superhero header > Dashboard > Appearance > Header
Suggested width for the header image is 480 pixels. Suggested height is 150 pixels. If you want to have featured images in posts appearing in the featured post slider across the top of the blog then you have to set featured images. Have you read the theme description at “Featured Content Section” here? http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/superhero/
You need to Create a post with a featured image that’s at least 960px wide, set it as a featured image and give the featured post the tag you declared under Settings → Reading → Featured Content.

Hi there,
The way the custom header on your blog works is part of the Superhero theme’s design. You can see the same header behavior on the Superhero theme demo: http://superherodemo.wordpress.com/
If you’d like to customize a theme’s design, you can do that with the Custom Design upgrade. With that upgrade, you can use Custom CSS to make changes like making the header scroll along with the page.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

By the way, if you’d like a similar theme with a different style of header, you might want to check out the Sidekick theme. That theme’s design is a variation on the Superhero theme, so they have quite a bit of design in common. I hope that helps!

Ok, I’ll think of getting the upgrade so I can use CSS. Thank you rachelmcr! And timethief as well :)
